Godiva Chocolate Steam Train pulls into St Pancras Station!
This model chocolate steam train was another truly epic collaboration project for the Chocolatician team and Plunge Creations.
To mark the launch of the film ‘Murder on the Orient Express’, The Craftsman Agency partnered with chocolatier Godiva to commission a 3 meter long chocolate train, inspired by the Orient Express train.
Made from 60kg of premium dark and milk Belgian chocolate, the train weighs the same as 600 chocolate bars, took 50 hours to design and our team almost 350 hours to cover and create.
Pulling in first to the Royal Albert Hall for the world premier, the train stood proud at the top of the red carpet, for all the talent and Paparazzi to enjoy! Next stop was a 5 week residence at St Pancras Station where thousands of christmas shoppers and commuters caught a glimpse and then finally after a brief touch up back home in Brighton it had it’s final leg of the tour starting in Bristol it then hopped on a little boat….The Queen Mary II Cruise Ship to set sail to New York City, just in time for Christmas Eve!!
Sadly we were not invited to come along to the states but what a thrill to know this chocolate adventure rolled on for 6 months from start to finish! So lovely to think of all those who got to enjoy it after all the hard work that went into creating it!
